Cooking in Pressure — Part II Memasak di Bawah Tekanan – Bagian II

Bakudapan

Since there are no photographs to provide evidence for the events of 1965–66, Bakudapan Food Study Group has made a series of drawings based on the stories of the female ex-prisoners. The illustrations made in black ink become a historical metaphor for memory, which is always perceived in black and white, while the use of paper refers to memory’s fragility.
